My interpretation of the Second Amendment; it is an individual right, not a corporate right, no related to a militia, you have an individual right to own a weapon both for recreation–for hunting– and also for your self-protection. But, just as you don’t have an individual right to by an F-15, if you’re a billionaire, with ordinance on it, just like you don’t have the right to buy an M1 tank, just like you don’t have the right to buy an automatic weapon, those judgements have been made that there are no reasonable societal justifications or constitutional justifications for owning them. There is no sporting need that I’m aware of to have a magazine that holds 50 rounds, none that I’m aware, and I’m a sportsman.

Nothing pisses me off quite like this post. The last one is absolutely no different than a hunting rifle. Do you know what I use that last one for? Sports. It is a sporting rifle. There’s no difference between it, and the hunting rifle, except the last one “is black and scary looking.” Not to mention that the “scary looking one” fires an intermediate rifle cartridge vs the hunting rifle’s full size cartridge. All this means to the simple anti-gun folk is that the so-called assault weapon won’t reach a mile and a half out like a .308 Winchester or even a .22 lr. Hunting rifle is more deadly, basically. You know, if we said a black person had no alternate use besides killing, the whole world would flip out. Apparently it’s okay to say about guns though? Racist. Guns (The purpose)

  • A Gun: To kill/disarm people using a projectile known as a bullet that slices through human skin and flesh. The bullet has no set of eyes and no heart, so the only thing that guides the bullet is the person pointing the barrel of the gun.
  • An Assault Weapon: To do the same thing as a gun, but multiple times in succession without the need to reload.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but comparing the President of the United States to HITLER? Are you in 1st grade or what? First, it’s disgusting and offensive to Jewish people. Do you realize that 70% of Jewish people voted for our president because they know this nonsense is bullshit and irresponsible to post? I feel sorry for the children that have parents that post this crap. Second, Obama has kids of his own. Just because he banned automatic weapons he’s going to go around slaughtering them because of his “HIDDEN AGENDA”? Yeah, he secretly wants to wipe out millions of kids after banning assault weapons…THOSE TWO THINGS DON’T EVEN CORRELATE. I am so disgusted and tired of this bullshit. Honestly sometimes I wish there was a stupid filter for Facebook. I feel bad for Republicans who are actually reasonable who get represented by these douchebags. So done.
