We never seen the grammar alerts as an insult until you put it that way. Now, we’re offended by the former posts!

This is an experiment within itself and you can tell we are indeed Black. We are still in the mind of “getting accepted by society”… in this case, White society. We aim for a goal and in this goal, we will be insulted on all types of levels, including the use of the Majestic “We”. We made mistakes, however, our point is still valid.

We took the grammar uses as constructive criticism, but didn’t realized that the way things were worded, it was meant to belittled us and reconfirms why we started this tumblr… to prove that we (as PoC) are never “good enough” for White people. We must be “above average” to be acceptable… and that’s what we’re trying to reverse!

Therefore, we briefly reverted to the “yes mastah” stage. The stage that bigots want us to remain in. The stage that White society doesn’t mind because we belong in the background, right? Wrong.

Good thing we’re human… and good thing we have kind supporters like this so we can step correct…

Thank you caminodistinto for pointing that out to us.

Back to the grammar… next time, if we made an error, try telling us WITHOUT the condescending tone. You may not like us, but you will respect us!
