What You Will Never Know

White people, I’mma need y’all to stop this nonsense.

You guys just have a penchant for sniffing out anti-racist blogs for people of color, and flooding them with anon hate that consists of incomplete sentences and racial slurs. I mean, this isn’t an isolated incident habit, this is an actual thing. Like, a real, legit thing that y’all just do for funsies. I know that blogs like this bother you, but it took me a long time to figure out why. (I just started this blog what, 3 days ago and y’all are already flooding in like the levies of hell just collapsed.) But I realized it. It literally just hit me a few minutes ago, why you guys do this.

You really dislike people of color who will actually stand up to white people when they’re being oppressive. And I’ve always known this, but it just sank in all the way. Like, you guys hate the fact that you’re not the targeted audience; you hate the fact that you’re the one in the spotlight, but for negative reasons, and you hate that things that you’ve lived with for your entire life are being called into question. You’re in the interrogation chair, and it makes you uncomfortable, and confused, and angry, because you think that it shouldn’t be you, it should be us, because ~that’s how it usually works~

And I mean, this seriously pisses you off, doesn’t it? It really chaffs your ass that I don’t just sit here and take it! Holy shit, man, it re-he-he-heeeeeally makes y’all mad! So you take to my inbox, set yourself to anon, and call me a slur. I don’t know what you’re hoping to achieve, but that’s what you do. And I give you a snarky response. So you call me a slur. Again. Not even a different one. The same one. As if to go, “What? What’s wrong with this magical slur? It’s not working! Let’s try it again, maybe that was just a fluke.”

And when it sinks in that you’re not going to hurt my feelings, you call me the same exact slur as before, but this time, in all caps for emphasis. And when that doesn’t work, “Let’s do it in all caps, and repeat the word over and over again a few times!”

Seriously, what the fuck do you think you’re going to accomplish?

What, do you think that calling me or other POC a ~Nigger~ is the magical key to getting us to stop? Did you think it’d make me cry? Shut down this blog? Did you think it’d hurt my feelings?

Let me ask you something else: Have you ever considered that calling me a racial slur only gives me more reason to keep going because by doing that hateful, bitter shit, you are proving my point?

And it’s honestly the best you can come up with; calling me a nigger over and over again, as if your thought process is, “Maybe if we say it enough, she’ll get it, and she’ll stop.”

Guess what? I’ve had “nigger” thrown at me more times than I can count. I cringed the first few times it was in my inbox, but now, I don’t even give a fuck, and that’s honestly the worst thing anyone can call me. So if you think that you’re going to hurt my feelings so much that I’m just going to finally break and shut this bad boy down, then you are wasting your time. You’re not wasting mine; I thoroughly enjoy forcing your ass into a seat. But you might want to just stop. Stick around. Get educated. Or continue to show your ass and let me slap it with thumb tacks, because I’m fine with that, too, and am having a lot of fun putting your gray booties in a row.
