On May 6, 2012, we decided to start a social justice/awareness blog under the name of Dark Goliath. We took over the whatwhiteswillneverknow tumblr name inspired by the former owner because people think it should be one (despite her saying it’s personal many, many times, including in her profile.). We turned it into one.
And now, 9 days later, we’re on our 100th post with 63 62 followers. Considering that our other blogs took 1-2 years before it reached past that number, we’re pretty humbled by this.
We’re also humbled that even thought this is clearly a Black/PoC social justice blog, we have people from all walks of life following us.
We thank you for following us and for your questions. We do not claim to know everything, and we’re willing to keep learning and growing.
We decided to make things a bit clearer…

KONY 2012 PSY-OP SHATTERRED – JOSEPH KONY HAS BEEN DEAD FOR 2 YEARS -
An informant in contact with Libya 360° has confirmed that the Lord’s Resistance Army leader, Joseph Kony, died two years ago. Welcome to my world. A lovely place where I am never seen as a individual. I am an ambassador to my race, only if I “misbehave” of course. When POC behave poorly we’re just doing what POC do. When we do well, we’re an exception to the rule.
The only time I will lump white people together is when I discuss white privilege. Whether you acknowledge your privilege or not you will benefit from it.
Do we really think that the average white person acknowledges and fully understand what white privilege is? Same goes for any other kind of privilege.
By design privilege makes people blind to privileges that they have. So I do not expect ANYONE, white, cis, able-bodied, hetero, etc to be fully aware of their privileges. If you are you are an exception to the rule that fosters ignorance.
